Tre forskare belönas av Svenska akademien

Under våren 2018 har tre forskare vid Uppsala universitet tilldelats stipendier från Svenska akademien.
Svenska Akademien delar årligen ut ett stort antal priser och stipendier. Vissa av dem utgår ur Akademiens egna medel, andra ur donationsfonder som överlämnats till Akademien. Under våren 2018 har priser och stipendier delats ut till 56 personer, varav tre är verksamma vid Uppsala universitet. Det framgår av ett pressmeddelande.
Anna Williams, professor vid litteraturvetenskapliga institutionen, har tilldelats Schückska priset på 100 000 kronor. Priset inrättades 1946 och utgår ur en fond med avsikt att stödja och belöna litteraturhistoriskt författarskap.
Karin Hagren Idevall, postdoktor vid institutionen för nordiska språk, och Alexandra Petrulevich, forskare vid institutionen för nordiska språk, har tilldelats Svenska Akademiens stipendium till postdoktorala språkforskare på 50 000 kronor vardera. Stipendiet, som inrättades 2002, skall utdelas som stöd och belöning till disputerade forskare för värdefulla bidrag till kännedom om svenska språket.
